Movie #8 - About a Boy

I love British comedies. I love Hugh Grant.

About a Boy is an adorable comedy about a guy named Will (played by Hugh Grant) who is very self-involved and is thrown for a spin when a young kid named Marcus (a baby version of Nicholas Hoult) enters his life. It makes him start to actually care about life and the people in his life. This little boy teaches him how to become an adult.

I do believe that this film is the reason why I can't jump on board with the "Nicholas Hoult is sexy" thing. I'll always imagine him as the little kid from About a Boy. However, I can jump on the "Nicholas Hoult is super talented" train. Because he is.

There isn't really much else to say about this movie. It's cute. Not great. Cute.

I do want to point out that Tonks from Harry Potter is in this movie! Natalia Tena

Overall, I would give About a Boy a 3 out of 5.
