Review: Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay

#101 - Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay

I think I lost brain cells while watching this. The only character that even makes sense is Roger Bart's character, Dr. Beecher. He keeps interjecting throughout the film, calling Rob Corddry's ridiculously offensive character, Ron Fox, out on his bad choices. Bart is like the voice of reason in this.

Why a sequel was made is beyond me. Even the cameos don't save this film. Neil Patrick Harris is even raunchier in this one than the first one, and at this point, it's no longer anywhere near believable because he's in a relationship with a man and has two kids in reality. Overall, the jokes are gross and extremely racist. I'm usually not one to pass up a good racial joke, if it's all in good fun, but the line that's crossed in this film gets tough to watch very quickly. Rob Corrdry's characters is unbelievable to listen to throughout the film. It's not funny at all. I can't help but feel that his character is what is wrong with America wrapped into one person.

Another dumb movie that cost millions to make...for no reason.

I give Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay 1 out of 5 stars.
